PALO ALTO, Calif. - San Diego State recorded its school-record sixth draw of the season as it played Stanford to a 0-0 tie over 110 minutes of soccer in Palo Alto Sunday afternoon. The draw was the fifth in league play for the Aztecs who are 2-2-5 in the Pac-10 (9-2-6 overall) with one conference match remaining.

Stanford's record stands at 4-10-3 (1-6-2 Pac-10) after their second stalemate of the season with SDSU. The teams played to a 1-1 tie earlier this season in San Diego.

The Aztecs were without the services of regular starting forward Raul Bautista and senior defender Matt Couch with both serving a one-game suspension after receiving red cards in Friday's game at Cal.

Freshman Omar Persad filled in for Bautista at forward and was credited with three of San Diego State's six attempts on goal.

Aztec goalkeeper Tally Hall was credited with six saves while recording his 12th shutout of the season as he improved his SDSU single-season mark in that category. Stanford goalie Andrew Kartunen had one save on the afternoon.

San Diego State concludes its 2005 campaign next Sunday (Nov. 13) when it hosts UCLA at 1:00 p.m. at the Sports Deck. The match also marks senior day with four Aztecs (Heath Creager, Matt Couch, Eric Santiago and Mike Mercuriali) playing their final regular-season match at home for SDSU.
