LARAMIE, Wyo. - San Diego State saw a short two-match win streak abruptly end as it fell 3-0 (30-21, 30-27. 30-25) to Wyoming in Laramie Friday evening. The loss dropped SDSU to 14-10 overall and 6-5 in Mountain West Conference play. The Cowgirls, who won for the third time in their last four matches, improved to 8-13 (3-7 MWC).

Junior outside hitter Melanie Greene recorded her 11th double-double of the year with 13 kills and 11 digs. She was the lone Aztecs to reach double figures in kills on the night.

Senior Melissa Stapley, making just her fourth start of the season, had nine kills with just two attack errors for a team-high .412 hitting percentage. Meanwhile, Aime Cordeiro led all players with 13 digs.

San Diego State had a tough night offensively, hitting just .142 as a team compared to .348 for the home side. The Cowgirls were led by Andrea Seele and Angie Hellbaum who contributed 14 and 10 kills respectively.

Up next for the Aztecs is a trip to Fort Collins on Saturday (Nov. 5) where they will face Colorado State at 7:00 p.m. (MST) in CSU's Moby Arena.
