-The Records: San Diego State heads to UC Riverside Saturday still in search of its first win of 2005-06. SDSU dropped its home opener Tuesday, falling in an all out battle with city rival USD, 67-57, in front of nearly a thousand fans at Cox Arena.

The Aztecs meet the Highlanders (1-1) for the second straight year, but the first time in Riverside since 1983. UC Riverside has split each of its first two contests this season, having beat USD, 63-56, back on Nov. 18, and falling to Pepperdine, 51-44, on Tuesday in Malibu.

-SDSU Head Coach Beth Burns: Burns (Ohio Wesleyan, 1979) is in the first year of her second stint as head coach at San Diego State. She coached the Aztecs from 1989 to 1997 and has a school record of 151-85 in nine seasons. Her 14-year head coaching record stands at 232-150.

-UC Riverside Head Coach John Margaritis: Margaritis is in his second year with the Highlanders. He boasts a school record of 17-14 and an overall head coaching record of 127-94 in eight seasons.

-UCR Series History: San Diego State leads 2-1 (Last: UCR def. SDSU at Cox Arena, 65-53, on Dec. 20, 2004).
