SAN DIEGO - Senior Meaghan Galindo and sophomore Dee Dee Farina have been named the Cheerleaders of the Game as announced by San Diego State cheerleading coach Jen Kwappenberg following the Aztecs contest versus UCLA. The weekly honor is the first award handed out by the cheer squad this season.
After every home game, the team votes on two girls who they feel worked the hardest during the game. Kwappenberg then announces the weekly winners.
The cheerleaders will be back in action when SDSU hosts San Jose State at 5:05 p.m.
