SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State doubles team of Eliska Krausova and Sisse Nielsen defeated the Arizona duo of Kasia Jakowlew and Jessie Rochefort, 8-5, on Saturday in the championship final of the Rainbow Wahine Invitational at Central Oahu Regional Park in Waipahu, Hawaii. The tournament was moved from the UH Tennis Complex on Friday after persistent rain caused delays on the University of Hawai'i campus in Honolulu.

In Flight B singles competition, Sisse Nielsen managed to put away Petra Teller of BYU-Hawaii, 6-7, 6-4, 6-2, in the completion of their semifinal match that was suspended due to the inclement weather on Friday. The fourth-seeded Nielsen could not continue the momentum, however, falling in the title match to Tina Razloznik of Arizona, 6-2, 6-4.

SDSU will return to action Jan. 29, to take on UC Riverside and Cal State Fullerton in a doubleheader at Aztec Tennis Center.
