The San Diego State doubles teams of Dita Hauerlandova/Sisse Nielsen and Alesya Vidov/Esther Cadua both dropped their respective final round matches of the 2005 SDSU Fall Tennis Classic Sunday morning at Aztec Tennis Center.

The tandem of Hauerlandova/Nielsen made their way to the consolation final of the Red doubles bracket after defeating Florida State's Suzanna Mansour/Whitney Eber, 8-4, on Saturday. The tandem was not as fortunate Sunday morning as both Hauerlandova and Nielsen suffered injuries in the final and were not able to continue as Long Beach State's Katy Willams/Sandra Rocha walked away with a 4-1, ret., victory.

In the Black doubles draw, Vidov/Cadua, who were playing together for the first time on Saturday and recorded a pair of wins to reach the championship final, experienced the same outcome as their teammates on Sunday. The Aztec duo saw their two-match winning streak come to an end, as they were defeated, 8-6, by San Diego's Jenny Brown/Helene Lindstrand.

San Diego State closes out its fall portion of the schedule Nov. 10-12, as it travels to the nation's 50th state for the Rainbow Wahine Tennis Classic in Honolulu, Hawaii.
