ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The Aztecs men's golf team closed the final day of competition carding a 20-over, 884 to finish in 11th place at the William H. Tucker Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M. The Aztecs shot a third round score of 296, after opening rounds of 288 and 300 on Friday.
Senior Andrew Scott led the Aztecs finishing in 31st place, after shooting a 1-over-par, 73 in the final round. Junior transfer John Gray (+5) and sophomore transfer David Palm (+6) finished their first tournament with the Aztecs tied in 40th and 47th respectively.
UNLV's Andres Gonzales won the individual tournament with a 9-under-par, 207, after bogeying seven times during the final round of play. UNLV won the 20-team event going carding a tournament score of 282-288-281--851 (-13).

San Diego State men's golf team will return to action on Oct. 3-4 when they will travel to Somis, Calif. for the Club Glove Intercollegiate tournament.
