SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State-San Jose State football game, scheduled for Sept. 24, at Qualcomm Stadium, will be televised live by SportsWest and can be seen locally on Channel 4 San Diego. Kick-off for the non-conference contest will be at 5 p.m. (PDT).
With the addition of the San Jose State game, San Diego State's first six contests of 2005 will be broadcast by a national media outlet with five shown on television. The Aztecs ended the 2004 season by having their final 10 games shown on television.
SDSU kicks off its season on ESPN2 at home against UCLA on Sept. 3, while ABC regional will carry the Aztecs' trip to Columbus, Ohio on Sept. 17, for a match-up with Ohio State. San Diego State's games with BYU (ESPN Classic) and UNLV (ESPN+Plus) will also be televised.
In addition, the Sept. 10 game against Air Force can be seen on ESPN360. The conference opener for both teams will be broadcast just as if it were being shown on television with live streaming audio and video. ESPN360 is free, but is available only on certain internet service providers.
Television status for SDSU's remaining six contests is still to be determined.
