Justin Amaral on:
The first week of practice:
It's a lot faster than where I came from in junior college and it's a lot more complicated too. You have to be on your toes and pay attention the whole time and watch the veterans and learn from them.
On what motivates him during practice:
I just try and give 100 percent and not let my teammates down.
The coaching staff:
We have a great coaching staff. They're very straightforward with everything in terms of what they want and what they need and how they want it.
The factors in choosing SDSU:
The friendliness of the coaching staff, the location, the type of offense and the respect that I have for coach Craft.
His first visit to San Diego:
I was down here to watch the (2004 Holiday) Bowl game between Cal and Texas Tech.
What he did over the summer:
I just worked out.
His favorite junior college memories:
Making all-state and all-conference, and leading the state in two statistical categories (all-purpose yardage and touchdown receptions).
Expectations for the 2005 season:
We're on a journey right now and I just want to contribute to that journey.
Favorite NFL player:
Terrell Owens, he's always on top of his game.
