SAN DIEGO - San Diego State senior center Jasper Harvey is one of 39 players who have been named to the Rimington Trophy watch list. This is the second consecutive season that Harvey has been named to the national list.

The six-year old trophy, named after former two-time Nebraska All-American and Cincinnati Bengals center Dave Rimington, is awarded annually to college football's top center in the country.

The Rimington Trophy recipient is determined by a consensus of The Walter Camp Football Foundation, America Football Coaches Association, Football Writers Association of America and "The Sporting News."

Harvey (Marrero, La./Archbishop Shaw HS) is one of 30 seniors on the list and is one of six Mountain West Conference centers to be considered for the award.

This is the third time in four seasons that a SDSU player has been named to the Rimington Trophy watch list as former Aztec Johnathan Ingram was recognized in 2002.
