SAN DIEGO - The 2005 San Diego State-UNLV football game will be televised on ESPN+Plus, as the Mountain West Conference Game of the Week on Oct. 8, in Las Vegas, Nev. Kickoff is set for noon (PDT) and will also be shown locally on Channel 4 San Diego.
SDSU will be looking for its fourth straight victory over UNLV when the two sides meet in early October. A year ago, the Aztecs beat the Rebels 21-3 to end their season on a winning note. SDSU leads the all-time series, 8-6.
The game with UNLV marks the fourth televised game for the Aztecs so far in 2005. SDSU kicks off its season on ESPN2 at home against UCLA on Sept. 3. ABC will carry the Aztecs' trip to Columbus, Ohio on Sept. 17 when they face Ohio State. The San Diego State-BYU game in San Diego on Oct. 1, will be broadcast on ESPN Classic.
Television status for the rest of the Aztec games is still to be determined.
