The 2005 BYU game will mark SDSU's first live appearance on ESPN Classic and it will mean that SDSU will have appeared on three different ESPN networks in just over a 12-month span, dating back to last seasons' 24-21 loss at Michigan on ESPN.
San Diego State's football squad will report to campus on Aug. 7 and begin practicing on Aug. 8. Including specialists, SDSU returns 19 starters, including 2003 starter Lynell Hamilton, a first-team Freshman All-America running back.
