STANFORD, Calif. - San Diego State's Aaron Choi is one shot back of first place and his Aztec team is in fourth place after two rounds of play in the U.S. Intercollegiate at the par 70, 6,742 yard Stanford Golf Course on Saturday.

Choi fired rounds of 67 and 70, and is one of only five golfers to be under par after two rounds. His three-under-par score of 137 is one shot back of USC's Bradley Shaw and one ahead of Daniel Im (UCLA) and Matt Ma (Oregon).

As a team, the Aztecs had rounds of 288 and 291 on Saturday for a 579 team total. USC leads the field after shooting rounds of 278 and 284 (562). Fresno State is ten strokes back in second (572), followed by UCLA (575), the Aztecs (579), Oregon (584) and San Jose State (584).

Behind Choi, SDSU's Gilberto Rodriguez is tied for 23rd with a 145 (70-75) and Andrew Scott is in a tie in 26th place after rounds of 75 and 71 (146).

The tournament will conclude with 18 holes on Sunday
