COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Thursday's baseball game between San Diego State and Air Force at Falcon Field in Colorado Springs was suspended due to snow. The Falcons were about to come to bat in the bottom of the second when the game was halted with the Aztecs holding a 2-0 lead.

The contest will be resumed on Friday (March 25) at 11:00 a.m. as part of a doubleheader. Friday's regularly-scheduled game between SDSU and Air Force will start approximately one half hour after the completion of the suspended contest.

On Thursday, San Diego State opened the scoring with a run in the first inning as center fielder Quintin Berry singled, stole second, went to third on a ground out and came home on a passed ball.

The Aztecs added a run in the second when Lance Zawadzki led off with a double, advanced to third on a passed ball, and scored on a double play grounder.

The Falcons were set to bat in the second when the snow came, forcing a stoppage. After a half hour wait, the umpires declared the game suspended.
