SDSU Rowers Commence Spring Season
• San Diego State races in its first spring regatta Saturday at the Parker Cup Regatta at Mission Bay, in San Diego, Calif. The Aztecs will have six boats competing in six different races. The Novice Eight boat will kick things off at 9:40 a.m., followed by the Novice Four at 9:50 a.m. and the JV Eight at 10:15 a.m. The day will conclude with the Varsity Eight racing at 10:30 a.m., the Lightweight Eight at 11 a.m. and the Varsity Four at 11:10 a.m.

• Loyola Marymount and UC Irvine will compete against the Aztecs in all six races, while UC San Diego and Long Beach State will also participate in the five-team event.

• "This is our first race of the competitive spring season," second-year head coach Jennifer Zebroski said. "This (race) will give us a good gauge to where we are at in our training. We have made a lot of technique changes the last two weeks and have really improved our stroke. We are looking forward to the competition this weekend."
