Results

BOISE, Idaho - The distance medley relay team of sophomore Lisa Naucler, junior Nicole Carmier, freshman Brittani Dudley and sophomore Lital Azulay set an indoor school record of 12 minutes, 13.23 seconds to pace the San Diego State track and field team in the first day of the Holiday Inn Invitational on Friday in Boise, Idaho. The relay team bettered the old mark of 12.13.8 set in 2003.

In other action, senior Erin Asay (San Diego) finished second in the pole vault, clearing 13-0 ¼, while senior Shayla Balentine (12-5 ½) and freshman Monica Pacas (12-5 ½) took third and fifth, respectively.

Junior Jackie Duncan (59.36) and sophomore Nicole Rothert (59.93) fiinished third and fourth in the 400, and senior Tori Respass-Parsons qualified for Saturday's 60-meter final, clocking 7.73 in the preliminary heat.

The Aztecs will return to action for day two at 10 a.m. Saturday.
