San Diego State Travels to Northern Arizona for Final Dual-Meet of the Season on Saturday
* San Diego State (5-7, 1-6 MWC) travels to Flagstaff, Ariz., for its final dual-meet of the season against Northern Arizona (4-2). The meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. PST at the Wall Aquatic Center.

Saturday's contest concludes a five-meet stretch in which the Aztecs have had to travel. In those meets, SDSU lost to UNLV, came in sixth at the UNLV Invite, finished sixth, third and fifth in the three meets at the UCI Invite, lost to Hawai'i and defeated LMU and Pepperdine last Friday.

After the NAU meet, the Aztecs will return home and have two and a half weeks to prepare for the Mountain West Conference Championships in Oklahoma City on Feb. 23-26.

After Two Shutout Wins, the Aztecs Hit the Road for a Showdown with Second-Ranked UCLA
* The No. 71 San Diego State men's tennis team (2-1) travels to Los Angeles for a date with the second-ranked UCLA Bruins (4-0). The match is slated for a 1:30 p.m. start at the Los Angeles Tennis Center.

The Aztecs head to UCLA after two convincing 7-0 shutouts over UC Riverside and Northern Arizona at the La Jolla Tennis Club this past weekend. The two wins got SDSU into the win column for the first time this year after a season-opening loss at No. 8 USC (Jan. 22).

Meanwhile, the Bruins are on a roll, shutting out all four of their opponents so far by 7-0 margins. Before facing the Aztecs, UCLA faces 67th-ranked UC Santa Barbara Tuesday and No. 73 UC Irvine Wednesday.

Aztecs Travel for the First Time this Season, Take on Texas Tech and 27th-Ranked Oregon in Eugene
* No. 65 San Diego State (2-1) travels to the Pacific Northwest for matches against Texas Tech (0-0) and 27th-ranked Oregon (5-0) on Saturday and Sunday in Eugene, Ore.

The Aztecs are coming off a rainout last Friday against (58) Long Beach State and a 5-2 loss at the hands of No. 17 California.

Texas Tech will be playing its first match of the 2005 season when it faces San Diego State. Meanwhile, Oregon comes into Sunday's match with the Aztecs riding a five-match winning streak.

San Diego State Opens Up 2005 Campaign at the UC San Diego Invitational This Weekend
* The San Diego State water polo team opens its 11th season as a sponsored SDSU sport on Saturday as it travels up the freeway to nearby UC San Diego for the UCSD Invitational. The two-day annual event runs all day and is being held at Canyonview Pool.

Aztecs Travel To Northern Arizona Saturday For First Full-Squad Meet
* The San Diego State track and field squad will compete in its first indoor meet at full strength this season on Saturday at the 2005 Mountain T's Invitational in Flagstaff, Ariz. The Aztecs are expected to take 28 student-athletes to the one-day competition, set for the J.L. Walkup Skydome on the campus of Northern Arizona University.

* Saturday's meet will be broken up into two sessions with the first beginning at 8 a.m. MST and the second starting at 12:45 p.m. All women's field events will take place in the first session.

* Last year, nine four-year collegiate teams competed on the women's side, including Arizona State, Azusa Pacific, Cal State Dominguez Hills, Long Beach State, New Mexico State, Northern Arizona, UC Irvine and Mountain West Conference school UNLV.
