SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State athletic medicine staff will hold a community health symposium Feb. 5, at 3 p.m. in the Aztec Athletic Center.
Experts in sports medicine will provide the latest information in the treatment of knee injuries and their relationship to the development of arthritis later in life. They will discuss the prevention, diagnosis, surgical and non-surgical treatment along with the rehabilitation of various knee injuries.
Scheduled to speak at the event are the Director of Athletic Medicine Dr. Greg Gastaldo, SDSU orthopedic surgeons Dr. Peter Wile and Dr. Christopher Behr, along with the Aztecs' head athletic trainer Gary Johnson.
