-The Records: The Aztecs head out of San Diego for the first time, as they travel to Nevada on a two-game win streak. SDSU posted back-to-back home victories over Cal State Stanislaus and Northern Colorado last week and are looking to start a season 3-1 for the second year in a row.

Nevada won its first two games of the year, defeating both Cal State Fullerton and Colorado, but has since dropped its last three outings. The Wolf Pack was 3-26 in 2003-04, including a 67-52 loss to the Aztecs.

-SDSU Head Coach Jim Tomey: Tomey (Michigan '81) is in his third season at San Diego State after taking over the Aztec helm on April 9, 2002. His career and Aztec head coaching record is 19-39.

-Nevada Head Coach Kim Gervasoni: Gervasoni is in her second year as head coach of the Wolf Pack. Her school and career record is 5-29.
