The Records: San Diego State looks to finish its first homestand of the season with a perfect 2-0 home record as the host Aztecs take on the Northern Colorado Bears at 2 p.m. in Cox Arena. SDSU claimed its first victory of the season, 80-65, earlier in the week over NCAA Division II foe Cal State Stanislaus, 80-65.

Northern Colorado, meanwhile, is 1-4 so far in its second season playing at the Division I level. The Bears will be just two days removed from their first win of the year, 68-62, over Utah State at home. UNC has dropped contests to Nebraska, Drake, Iowa State and UMKC.

SDSU Head Coach Jim Tomey: Tomey (Michigan '81) is in his third season at San Diego State after taking over the Aztec helm on April 9, 2002. His career and Aztec head coaching record is 18-39.

UNC Head Coach Ron Vlasin: Vlasin is in his fourth year as head coach of the Bears. His school and career record is 43-44.
