-The Records: SDSU looks to remain unbeaten at home in 2004-05, as it faces Pac-10 member Washington State for the second year in a row. The Aztecs hope to rebound from a 74-55 loss at Nevada on Tuesday evening, while the Cougars also dropped their last contest Thursday night at Fresno State, 65-61.

Both teams currently boast .500 records and have yet to play any common opponents. SDSU, which begins a three-game homestand Saturday, earned the victory over WSU a year ago, 63-56, in Pullman.

-SDSU Head Coach Jim Tomey: Tomey (Michigan '81) is in his third season at San Diego State after taking over the Aztec helm on April 9, 2002. His career and Aztec head coaching record is 19-40.
