The Records: San Diego State hopes to rebound from its season-opening loss at USD, when it plays host to NCAA Division II foe Cal State Stanislaus at Cox Arena.

Both squads are looking for their first victories of the season, as the Aztecs are coming off a 64-49 defeat to USD last Tuesday. The Warriors have dropped both of their contests in 2004-05, falling to Alaska-Fairbanks (73-58) and South Dakota State (96-32) in a pair of home games, Nov. 19-20. The Warriors will be 10 days removed from their last outing when they make their first-ever trip to face the Aztecs.

Tuesday's game is the home opener for SDSU. The Aztecs are 23-5 all-time in their first home contest of a season, including a 4-1 mark in the last five years.

SDSU Head Coach Jim Tomey: Tomey (Michigan '81) is in his third season at San Diego State after taking over the Aztec helm on April 9, 2002. His career and Aztec head coaching record is 17-39.

CS Stanislaus Head Coach Sharon Turner-Dean: Turner-Dean is in her third season at Cal State Stanislaus. She owns a career record of 25-32 overall.
