San Diego State women's tennis completed three days of competition at the SDSU Fall Tennis Classic on Sunday. Junior Dita Hauerlandova participated in both the Flight A singles championship and the doubles championship, but came up short as she lost both matches.
In the Flight A singles final, Hauerlandova took on San Diego's Emma Murphy and lost in straight sets, 6-3, 7-6. In the doubles championship, Hauerlandova teamed with Indra Erichsen and were defeated by San Diego's duo of Lauren Kazarian and Emma Murphy by a score of 8-6.
Other doubles matches of the day included Alesya Vidov and Eliska Krausova knocking off Houston's Diana Martin and Kami Miller, 9-7, and the team of Sisse Nielsen and Nina Spaeth downing San Diego's Anderson/Lindstrand, 8-6.
Junior Sarah Sansom won her singles match, 6-0, 7-6, over Pepperdine's Rosette Andreasian. Eliska Krausova was also victorious in a, 6-0, 7-6, win over Houston's Sacha Gumbs.
Sunday concluded the three-day annual tournament for the Aztecs. Next up is the ITA/Riviera All-American Tournament in Los Angeles beginning on Tuesday.
