SAN DIEGO - The women's soccer match between the San Diego State Aztecs and the Colorado College Tigers, originally scheduled for 1 p.m. on Thursday, has been cancelled due to heavy rains and poor field conditions.
The Aztecs, who are 3-0-2 in the Mountain West Conference (6-6-5 overall) and tied for the conference lead with UNLV (11-3-2, 4-1-0 MWC), conclude their 2004 regular season with a MWC match against the Rebels at 1 p.m. Saturday on the SDSU Sports Deck.
The winner of that game will receive the No. 1 seed and a bye in the quarterfinals of the MWC tournament. All ticket prices are $5. However, fans can present their Oct. 30, 2004, SDSU-Utah football ticket at the gate to gain free admission for Saturday game.
