FRESNO, CA - San Diego State saw its losing streak reach 10 matches as it fell to Oral Roberts, 3-0 (20-30, 20-30, 24-30) at the Fresno State Invitational Saturday afternoon. The loss kept SDSU winless at 0-10 while ORU moved its record to 4-7.

Middle blocker Ashley Bowker was the lone Aztec in double figures in kills as she recorded 10 over the three games. The junior from San Diego hit .467 for the match and also contributed four blocks and a pair of digs, but it wasn't enough to help SDSU overcome a Golden Eagle team that hit .298 for the match compared to .161 for San Diego State.

Freshman Libero Aime Cordeiro continued her strong defensive play, finishing with a dozen digs and also chipping in with two service aces. Over the course of SDSU's three games at the Fresno Invitational, Cordeiro recorded 52 digs for an average of 5.20 dpg.

First-year setter Kristen Castillo had 37 assists on the day and over the last three matches has averaged 12.0 assists per game. She also had nine digs for the second time in the last three outings.

The Aztecs now return home for a Tuesday (Sept. 21) match against 18th-ranked Loyola Marymount at 6:00 p.m. in Peterson Gym before opening Mountain West Conference play at UNLV next Friday.
