SDSU Football Heads Downtown

July 30, 2004

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State football team will be in downtown San Diego on Aug. 6 to promote the upcoming 2004 season. The Aztecs will be at the location of 101 W. Broadway in the heart of downtown along with the SDSU marching band and the San Diego State cheerleaders.

The event features an autograph session that gives fans the opportunity to meet and greet many of the Aztec football players. The student-athletes will be on-hand signing posters, as well as giving away Marshall Faulk bobblehead dolls and 2004 pocket schedule cards. The Mighty 1090, the official radio home of Aztec Football, will also be in attendance.

The festivities begin at noon and last until 1 p.m. This will be the first chance for the San Diego community to catch a glimpse of their Aztecs before Family Day on Aug. 21 at Qualcomm Stadium and the home opener against Idaho State slated for Sept. 4.
