Recapping Last Week's Action
* San Diego State dropped a MPSF matchup to No. 3 UCLA, 8-5, on Saturday in Los Angeles. The Aztecs fell behind 5-2 after two quarters and could never regain the momentum to get back into the match.
* Senior Holly Hartzell led SDSU with two goals, two assists, and three steals. Dominique Delgado, Savanah Kelley and Chelsy Smith each posted a goal for the Aztecs. Ashley Zabel was in the cage and registered seven saves.

Hartzell Climbing Up Career Charts
* Senior Holly Hartzell continues to increase her career scoring record, which she set at the UC Davis tournament earlier in the year. Hartzell leads SDSU in scoring with 38 goals this season and has scored 259 times in her four years at SDSU.
* Although Hartzell's scoring rate may not be as rapid as her first three years when she averaged almost 74 goals per season, her 46.9 shooting percentage is the best of her career. Despite the fact that defenses have keyed on Hartzell the last couple years, when she has been able to get shots they have gone in at a more frequent rate. Here is a look at Hartzell's career scoring numbers:

Year Shots Goals Pct.2001 196 90 45.92002 163 68 41.72003 135 63 46.72004 81 38 46.9Career 575 259 45.0* Hartzell is not only an offensive threat but also leads the 2004 Aztecs with 40 steals. She is also third in career steals with 194 and needs 25 more to move into second place.
* Hartzell was awarded MPSF player of the week honors on Feb. 24 for posting 12 goals at the UC Davis tournament and breaking the scoring record.
* Hartzell also ranks second in career assists with 82 after posting 13 this season.

Onweller Scoring Big
*Senior Sandy Onweller has posted a career high 37 goals this season, the second best total on the team. She also is second on the squad with 20 assists.
* Onweller was named the MPSF player of the week on March 15 after her eight goals propelled the Aztecs to four wins, including victories over No. 6 Cal and No. 4 Long Beach State.
*Onweller has scored at least three goals six times including a career high six scores against Hawai'i (Feb. 26), which is also the SDSU high this season.

Goalkeeper Trio
* Ashley Zabel leads SDSU's goalkeeping trio as she has started 17 games for the Aztecs and tops the squad with 107 saves. She also has recorded a 4.75 goals against average. Zabel has accumulated 496 saves in her career, which ranks second on SDSU's all-time saves list.
* Senior Sara Daseler has started six games since coming back from an injury and has made 10 or more saves in three games. Overall, Daseler has a 4.87 goals against average and 51 saves.
* Freshman Sarah Kilgore has played in five games and made 26 saves, recording a 4.8 goals against average. Kilgore also tied SDSU's single-game record with five assists in one half of action in the Aztecs 16-5 win over Pacific.

Delgado's Assists Abound
* Junior Dominique Delgado has 32 assists on the season and needs only 12 more to break the SDSU single-season assist mark. Delgado also moved into third place on SDSU's career assist chart with 73 in her career. She is closing in on Hartzell for second place all-time and is currently nine behind her teammate.
