Warman Leads UTSA Invitational After Two Rounds

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Senior Mark Warman is leading the field after two rounds at the University of Texas-San Antonio Invitational that was played on Monday. Warman fired a five-under 67 in the first 18-holes of the day and finished with a 73 in the afternoon for a two stroke lead with a total of 140 heading into Tuesday's final 18-holes. San Diego State is in fifth place after shooting 589 as a squad. Kanasas leads the field after shooting 574, but SDSU is only six strokes out of second position.

Redshirt freshman Chris Cole, playing in his first tournament for SDSU, was the second leading scorer for the Aztecs after posting rounds of 72-74 for a 146 total, which puts him in 15th heading into Tuesday. Andrew Scott and Linus Nilsson round out the scoring for SDSU at 151 and 154, respectively.

The 54-hole tournament will conclude with 18 holes on Tuesday beginning with tee times at 8:30 am.
