SAN DIEGO - San Diego State improved to 2-0 with a convincing 7-0 victory over St. Mary's on Friday at the SDSU courts. The Aztecs pulled out two of the three doubles matches to earn the point, and then earned the win in all six singles matches.
Katalina Romero and Indra Erichsen paired up to win at No. 1 doubles, 8-6, and then went on to win No. 1 and No. 3 singles, respectively, each in straight sets. Dita Hauerlandova teamed up with Alesya Vidov to earn the victory at No. 2 doubles, 8-5. Haurlandova was also victorious at No. 2 singles, while Vidov won at No. 5 singles.
San Diego State returns to action on Sat., Feb. 6, at noon as they host Cal Poly at noon on the SDSU courts.
