Aztecs Enjoy Successful Run at Sherwood Invitational

SAN DIEGO -- San Diego State senior Felix Hardt and sophomore Daniel Jung recorded victories over nationally-ranked opponents in singles play at the Sherwood Invitational in Malibu. The four-day tournament featured individuals representing some of the nation's top men's tennis programs including Baylor, California, Stanford, USC and UCLA.

Hardt posted a 2-2 record, with victories over 53rd-ranked Ruben Torres of USC, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 and 35th-ranked Johan Berg of USC, 6-4, 6-4. Jung recorded a 2-1 mark, including a 6-3, 6-1 win over 89th-ranked James Pade of Stanford.
