SAN DIEGO - The 34th-ranked San Diego State women's tennis team suffered a 5-2 loss to No. 69 UC Irvine on Saturday at the SDSU Courts. The Anteaters claimed the doubles point and won four of six singles matches en route to the victory.
San Diego State tied the match at two points apiece when Indra Erichsen defeated Hui Leow 6-3, 6-4 in No. 3 singles. The Anteaters however, went on to win the next four singles matches to improve their record to 4-4.
San Diego State, which dropped to an even 3-3, returns to the SDSU Courts Sunday at noon when they host Georgia Tech.
