Aztec Men's Tennis Team Falls To No. 32 San Diego, 4-3

SAN DIEGO - SDSU senior and 49th-ranked Felix Hardt's upset of No. 17 Pierrick Ysern was not enough as the San Diego State men's tennis team suffered a heartbreaking 4-3 loss to San Diego on Saturday afternoon.

After defeating the UC San Diego Tritons on Tuesday at the SDSU courts, the Aztecs traveled to USD to take on the Toreros.

The Aztecs won the doubles point after sweeping all three matches. The Toreros however, won four of the six singles matches to come away with the win. USD improved to 5-3, while the Aztecs dropped to 2-3 and return to the courts in La Jolla for the Pacific Coast Doubles Tournament, March 5-7.
