SAN DIEGO - The softball game between San Diego State and Cal State Northridge, originally scheduled for 1 p.m. on Friday at Matador Diamond, has been cancelled. Construction of a new backstop will not be completed in time for Friday's originally scheduled game. The game will not be rescheduled.
The Aztecs play next at 5 p.m. on Wednesday against the University of San Diego at the USD Softball Complex. Noon doubleheaders on Saturday at Cal Poly and on Sunday at UC Santa Barbara round out the week's play.
