-The Records: The San Diego State women's basketball team takes its first two-game Mountain West Conference road trip of the season, beginning with a Thursday night match-up at New Mexico and followed by a Saturday afternoon game at Air Force. The Aztecs are coming off their biggest victory of 2003-04, knocking off Colorado State (58-55) for the second straight year at home. New Mexico, meanwhile, began its MWC schedule with three straight road games and is 10-6 overall and 2-1 in conference play going into its MWC home opener with the Aztecs. Air Force is 3-13 overall and 0-3 in MWC play in 2003-04 and has finished at the bottom of the league standings each of the last four seasons.

-SDSU Head Coach Jim Tomey: Tomey (Michigan '81) is in his second season at San Diego State after taking over the Aztec helm on April 9, 2002. His career and Aztec head coaching record is 15-28.

-New Mexico Head Coach Don Flanagan: Flanagan is in his ninth year at New Mexico and boasts a Lobo and career record of 178-87.

-New Mexico Series History: The series is tied at 13-13 (Last: New Mexico def. SDSU, 54-49, 3/12/03, in Las Vegas at the MWC tournament).

-Air Force Head Coach Ardie McInelly: McInelly is in her third season at Air Force and boasts a 14-58 record heading into this week. Her eight-year career record is 91-120.
