SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- The San Diego State softball coaches are hosting a free coaches clinic on Jan. 22 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Head coach Kathy Van Wyk and her assistants, Kelly Howard and Jennifer Milo, will partake in the open forum. The clinic is free and takes place at the Aztec Athletics Center Auditorium, located at 5302 55th Street, across the street from Cox Arena. Coaches of all levels are invited to participate.
Coach Van Wyk will speak on pitching technique and an open forum will follow. Participants are invited to ask questions about softball techniques and strategies in all aspects of the game. Those interested are asked to RSVP to Milo at (619) 594-1850 or via e-mail at jmilo@mail.sdsu.edu.
The Aztec softball team begins its 2004 schedule with a double-header at Point Loma Nazarene at 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 3.
