-The Records: The San Diego State women's basketball team heads back on the road for the first time since Dec. 6, facing Washington State Monday in its first trip outside California this season. The Aztecs have dropped their last four games, including a 63-54 loss to Oral Roberts Saturday, but are 2-1 this year on the road.

Washington State is also coming off a day's rest, falling to unbeaten Idaho on Saturday, 72-57. The Cougars at 4-4 have already equaled their combined season win total from the last two seasons after going 2-27 in 2001-02 and 2-26 in 2002-03.

-In The RPI: In the fourth RPI released by the WBCA on Dec. 15, SDSU is ranked 314th, while Washington State is 75th of the 324 NCAA Division I teams. The Aztecs are 276th in the Jeff Sagarin/College Basketball News rankings.

-SDSU Head Coach Jim Tomey: Tomey (Michigan '81) is in his second season at San Diego State after taking over the Aztec helm on April 9, 2002. His career and Aztec head coaching record is 12-23.

-WSU Head Coach Sherri Murrell: Murrell is in her second season as head coach at Washington State. Her WSU record is 6-30, while her eight-year career record is 122-106.

-Series History: SDSU leads 1-0 (Last: SDSU def. WSU, 59-58, in San Diego, 11/23/81).
