Nov. 4, 2003

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - Due to heavy snowfall on the University of Utah campus and in the Salt Lake City area over the last week, the Mountain West Conference Women's Soccer Championships have been moved from Ute Field to Rice-Eccles Stadium, which has a Field Turf surface. As of Tuesday morning, the Ute Field surface was covered with eight inches of snow and deemed unplayable by tournament officials. Game times remain the same. Live stats for all Mountain West Conference Tournament games can be accessed at www.themwc.com/champ/soccer-today_03-mwc.html.

San Diego State, the No. 4 seed, plays 5th-seeded UNLV in a quarterfinal match at 2 p.m. MST on Wednesday. Should the Aztecs be victorious, they would face No. 1 seed Utah in a semifinal at 2 p.m. on Thursday. The championship is slated for a noon kickoff on Saturday.
