-Webcast/Live Stats/TV: Channel 4 San Diego will televise the game live with Bill Earley (play-by-play), Jenny Bramer (analysis) and Argy Stathopulos (sidelines). Dan Lawton will have the live audio broadcast on www.goaztecs.com. Live stats will not be available.

-The Records: SDSU split its two exhibition contests, falling to Vanguard 66-52 and beating Australian travel team Nunawading Spectres Monday night, 71-47. The Aztecs finished the 2002-03 campaign with a 9-18 record and a 3-11 mark in the Mountain West Conference.

Saint Mary's is coming off an 11-17 season and a 4-10 record in the West Coast Conference. The Gaels played just one exhibition game prior to tonight's season opener, defeating an Latvian select team, 60-54, on Nov. 9.

-In The RPI: In the 2003-04 preseason strength of schedule report released by the WBCA on Oct. 21, SDSU's schedule is ranked 152nd, while St. Mary's is 134th of the 324 NCAA Division I teams.

-SDSU Head Coach Jim Tomey: Tomey (Michigan '81) is in his second season at San Diego State after taking over the Aztec helm on April 9, 2002. His career and Aztec head coaching record is 9-18.

-Saint Mary's Head Coach Michelle Jacoby: Jacoby is in her fourth season at Saint Mary's and owns a Gael and career record of 53-36.
