SAN DIEGO - The women's soccer match between the San Diego State Aztecs and the Gonzaga Bulldogs, originally scheduled for 1 p.m. on Friday, has been cancelled due to the recent San Diego area fires and poor air quality in the San Diego area.
The Aztecs finish their 2003 regular season with a Mountain West Conference match at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at UNLV. SDSU will play in the MWC Quarterfinals in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Nov. 5 against either New Mexico or UNLV, depending on the outcomes of this weekend's MWC games. The semifinals are Nov. 6 and the championship is slated for Nov. 8.
