SAN DIEGO (AP) - Freshman Lynell Hamilton rushed for 218 yards on 40 carries as San Diego State beat Wyoming 25-20 on Saturday night to snap a four-game losing streak.

J.C. Mejia kicked four field goals in the first half to tie the single-game record for San Diego State (4-5, 1-3 Mountain West), as the Aztecs claimed their fifth straight victory over the Cowboys (3-5, 1-2).

Hamilton recorded his fourth 100-yard rushing game of the season, and nearly surpassed his best of 220 yards against Division I-AA Samford on Sept. 20.

Wyoming quarterback Casey Bramlet threw a season-high three interceptions, including two that led to second-half touchdowns. But Bramlet finished 25-of-45 for 247 yards, and led a late comeback by passing for two fourth-quarter scores.

With the Cowboys trailing 25-6 early in the fourth quarter, Bramlet hit Malcom Floyd with a 26-yard scoring pass with 7:36 to play. Later Bramlet connected with Jovan Bouknight for a 27-yard touchdown strike with 3:39 left.

But the Aztecs recovered the ensuing onside kick and ran out the clock.

San Diego State quarterback Adam Hall completed 14 of 26 passes for 191 yards and one touchdown. He also had a 5-yard run for his first rushing touchdown of the season.
