STILLWATER, Okla. - The San Diego State men's golf team posted a 327 team score Wednesday in the second round of the NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship, being played at Karsten Creek, in Stillwater, Okla.
The Aztecs, with a two-day total of 650, are in 30th place with two rounds remaining in the event. UCLA, at 598, holds a one-shot lead over host Oklahoma State in the team battle.
John Lieber has a two-day score of 157 (+13) to lead the Aztecs.
San Diego State is playing in its first NCAA Tournament since 1999 and just its third since 1984. Overall, the Aztecs are in the NCAA Championship for the 23rd time.
The tournament concludes with rounds on Thursday and Friday.
