SAN DIEGO - The 29th-ranked San Diego State women's tennis team improved to 6-3 on the season with a 4-3 victory over No. 42 Washington State Saturday afternoon on Montezuma Mesa.
San Diego State two took of the three doubles matches, including a win at No. 1 doubles by Silvia Tornier and Indra Erichsen. The two teams split the six singles matches with San Diego State picking up victories at No. 1 and 2 (Tornier and Lindsey Hedberg).
Katalina Romero of San Diego State also picked up a win at No. 5 with all three Aztec victories coming in straight sets.
