SDSU Women's Basketball Plays Host To New Mexico For Senior Night
Five San Diego State women's basketball players will compete in their final game at Cox Arena Saturday when the Aztecs play host to conference foe New Mexico, beginning at 5:05 p.m. The match-up with the Lobos will be the last in San Diego for seniors Jamey Cox, Valencia Howard, Andrea Kiesling, Tynisha King and Ashonda Williams.
New Mexico has won the previous five meetings between the two schools, including twice at the Mountain West Conference tournament in 2000 and 2001. The Aztecs, however, are already half way to making a repeat of the 2000-01 campaign in which they swept both Air Force and New Mexico in the final homestand of the season.
