SDSU Women's Basketball Looks To Rebound At BYU
The San Diego State women's basketball team ends a two-game road trip with its second stop in the state of Utah. The Aztecs will take on second-place Brigham Young Saturday at 1 p.m. MST, with the hopes of ending a three-game losing streak and claiming its first win at the Marriott Center since 1995.
SDSU dropped its MWC game earlier this week at Utah (22-66), while BYU earned a 63-51 victory over UNLV also on Thursday.

-The Records: SDSU (8-13, 2-7 MWC) hopes to avoid matching its longest losing skid of the season, finishing out a three-game road swing with a trip to Brigham Young Saturday. The Aztecs will look to rebound from their loss at Utah Thursday, after scoring just 22 points versus the Utes, the top scoring defense in the country. BYU, meanwhile, avenged an earlier loss to UNLV, beating the Lady Rebels 63-51 also on Thursday in Provo.
BYU won the earlier meeting between the two schools this season, 61-46, at Cox Arena on Jan. 23.
-In The RPI: In the 20th RPI rankings released by the WBCA through games of February 19, SDSU moved to 213th, while BYU is No. 55. The Aztecs are No. 215 (College Basketball News) and No. 212 (Collegerpi.com), respectively, in the other major RPIs.
-SDSU Head Coach Jim Tomey: Tomey (Michigan '81) is in his first season at San Diego State, taking over the Aztec helm on April 9, 2002. His career and Aztec head coaching record is 8-13.
