San Diego State Looks To Make It Two In A Row With A Win Over UMKC Sunday
Playing its first game in over a week, the San Diego State women's basketball (4-5) ends a four-game homestand Sunday afternoon versus the University of Missouri-Kansas City at Cox Arena, beginning at 2:05 p.m. The Aztecs, who are playing their third straight afternoon game, will look to put together a two-game win streak for the first time this season after burying winless Cal State Northridge, 75-54, back on Dec. 28.

UMKC (4-6), meanwhile, will face St. Louis University on Jan. 2, before heading to San Diego for the two schools' second all-time meeting. A year ago, SDSU edged the Kangaroos, 52-51, in Kansas City, behind then sophomore Nicolette McCartny's (Chicago, Ill.) game-winning shot with 11.3 seconds to play.
