San Diego State Women's Basketball Stays On The Road For Thanksgiving Tournament At Fresno
The San Diego State women's basketball team takes its 1-1 record on the road again for a four-team tournament at Fresno State, November 29-30. The Aztecs will face Murray State in their first game on Friday at 1 p.m.

Depending on the outcome of SDSU's meeting with the Racers, the Aztecs will play in either the tournament championship or consolation game against Fresno State or Butler University. Tip-off for the championship game in 2 p.m., while the consolation game starts two hours earlier at 12:00 p.m.

- Webcast/TV: Live audio broadcast on www.goaztecs.com, featuring Alan Horton. - The Records: San Diego State has opened its 2002 season with an even 1-1 record, defeating Centenary (75-58) before falling to St. Mary's (60-47). The Racers, meanwhile, are also 1-1 with a loss to North Carolina-Charlotte and a win in overtime against IUPUI at the KCRG Hawkeye Challenge in Iowa City, Iowa.

- In The RPI: SDSU finished the 2001-02 season ranked No. 199, while Murray State was No. 271 in the final RPI released by the NCAA.

- SDSU Head Coach Jim Tomey: Tomey (Michigan '81) is in his first season at San Diego State, taking over the Aztec helm on April 9, 2002. His career and Aztec head coaching record is 2-0.
