Nov. 12, 2002

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State football team will close the Mountain West portion of its football season with another national television game. The Aztecs' contest at the Air Force Academy on Nov. 23rd has been selected for telecast by ESPN2, the Mountain West Conference has announced.

Kickoff for that game will be 10 a.m. Mountain, 9 a.m. in San Diego. The game marks the second time in two years that SDSU had a kickoff at 9 a.m. Pacific. Last season, SDSU's 27-12 loss at Ohio State started at noon Eastern and was televised by ESPN+Plus.

The Air Force game marks the third time this season that the Aztecs have been featured on national television. San Diego State met Fresno State and UCLA on ESPN2 as well.

The game in Colorado Springs will be San Diego State's 22nd on national cable or network television since the start of the 1996 season.
