LAS VEGAS - Four members of the San Diego State men's tennis team, including tournament top seed Oliver Maiberger, have advanced to the round of 32 at the Omni Hotels West Regional Championships in Las Vegas.
Ryan Redondo, Daniel Jung and Valintino Pest also advanced to the singles round of 32, which will be played today. Maiberger advanced with a 6-2, 6-1 win over number 21-seed Justin Mancinolli. Redondo and Jung also won in two sets, 6-3, 6-3 and 6-4, 6-4, respectively. Pest won his match in three sets, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.
The tournament began on Wednesday and will run through Sunday.
