The San Diego State softball team will enter the 2002 Mountain West Conference as the no. 1 seed and will face the winner of the Brigham Young/New Mexico matchup on Thurs., May 9 at 7 p.m.
The tournament is being held at Gail Miller Field in Provo, Utah, May 9-11, and all teams will participate in the double-elimination tournament.
The Aztecs clinched the no. 1 seed and the regular season title with a 14-4 league record.
