SAN DIEGO - Second-ranked Stanford won the doubles point and swept three singles matches en route to a 4-0 victory over 51st-ranked San Diego State in the first round of the USTA/ITA National Men's Team Indoor Championship in Louisville, Ky., on Thursday.

Third-ranked Scott Lipsky and David Martin defeated second-ranked Oliver Maiberger and Ryan Redondo, 8-5, at number one doubles. At number two doubles, seventh-ranked Ryan Haviland and K.J.
